Recipe Ingredients for Steel cut oatmeal

1 1/3 c steel cut oats
4 c low fat soymilk
42 grams Agave nectar

Recipe Directions for Steel cut oatmeal

  1. Grind whole organic oats to desired fineness in blender. (Skip this if you use Bob's Red Mill or similar steel cut oats)

  2. Pour soymilk in pan, add ground oats and use wisk to stir thoroughly. Stir frequently.

  3. Set heat to medium for the first 3 mins, then turn down to medium low heat. Stir it some more...

  4. Did I mention to stir frequently throughout cooking, so oats don't stick to the bottom of the pan?

  5. Cook to desired thickness. (I get my bowl and thin it down a bit more to freeze) Take approx. 8-10 minutes.

  6. I divide this into six servings approx 1 cup each and refirgerate/freeze them. Quick and easy breakfast for the rest of the week.
