Recipe Ingredients for Steel Cut Oatmeal

1 tbsp butter
2 cups steel cut oats
1 cups skim milk
7 cups water

Recipe Directions for Steel Cut Oatmeal

  1. Melt butter in large pot.

  2. Toast the oats in the butter.

  3. Add boiling liquids; stir to combine.

  4. Continue to cook on simmer, stirring often, until mixture is thick.

  5. Divide into 6 portions; cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate.

  6. Grab a bowl, warm it in the microwave, add what ever you want and enjoy!
