steam veggies and serve over brown rice

Recipe Ingredients for Steamed Veggies

1 rutabaga
1 potato
2 beets
2 carrots
1 onion
1 stalk celery
6 brussel sprouts
1/2 cup cabbage
24 green beans
1 zucchini
1/4 cup cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cottage cheese
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp soy sauce

Recipe Directions for Steamed Veggies

  1. Start steamer over bowling water

  2. Put chopped hard veggies and steam for 5 minutes.

  3. Add onion, celery, green beans and cabbage and steam another 5 minutes.

  4. Add soft veggies and spinach and steam until hot.

  5. sprinkle with grated cheddar and place a spoon of cottage cheese on each plate

  6. dribble with soy

  7. serve over brown rice
