Recipe Ingredients for steamed veggies

1/2 cups cabbage, shredded
1 cup carrots, cubed
1/2 cup beans, fresh, cut
1/4 cup mung bean sprouts
1 cup cucumber, cut
1 tsp pepper, red, dried, powdered
1 salt to taste
1/2 tsp vegetable oil
1/4 tsp mustard
1/4 tsp lentil
1/4 cup beet, cubed

Recipe Directions for steamed veggies

  1. steam all veggies.

  2. heat oil in a wok

  3. add mustard seeds.

  4. when they splutter, add the salt and chillie powder; add the steamed veggies, saute for a couple of minutes.

  5. serve with steamed rice or roti/kakra.
