Recipe Ingredients for Steamed Sea Bass with Scallions and Ginger

16 oz Branzino Farm-Raised Whole
2 oz Rice Vinegar
2 oz Light Soy Sauce
0.02 cup Brown Rice Syrup
1.5 clove Garlic
5 slices (1" dia) Ginger Root
3 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions

Recipe Directions for Steamed Sea Bass with Scallions and Ginger

  1. Place the fish skin side up in heat-proof serving plate Combine the vinegar, soy sauce, rice syrup, garlic, and gigner and pour it over the fish. Turn the fillet several tmes to coat thouroughly with this marinade and set aside for 20 minutes.

  2. Sprinkle the scallions over and around the fish and place the plate on a steamer rack over rapidly boiling water. Cover tightly and steam until the fish is white throughout and flakes easily. Allow 10 minutes cooking trime for each inch of the fish's thickness at the thicknest point of the fillet. Remove from the steamer.
