Recipe Ingredients for Steamed Quinoa

1 cup Quinoa
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup onion, finely diced
1/2 cup carrot, diced
1 1/2 cups vegetable broth

Recipe Directions for Steamed Quinoa

  1. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat, add onions and saute until soft

  2. When onions are soft and slightly browned add the quinoa and toast until lightly browned, add carrots

  3. In a separate pan bring broth to a boil, when boiling pour over qunioa-onion mixture and cover tightly. Turn off the heat and let the quinoa cook for 20-30 minutes.

  4. Fluff with a fork and serve.
