steamed halibut with onion and garlic

Recipe Ingredients for steamed hailbut with onion

8 oz raw Halibut
1/2 small onion
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp butter
1 tsp vegetable oil
1/8 tsp garlic salt
1/8 black pepper
1/4 c water

Recipe Directions for steamed hailbut with onion

  1. cut fillet into 2 pieces

  2. chop onions into 1/2 slices

  3. finely chop garlic

  4. season fillet with garlic salt and pepper and any other spices ( i buy the seasoned fillets)

  5. add butter and oil to heated pan

  6. add garlic cook for a few minutes

  7. add onion cook until transparent

  8. lower heat

  9. add fillet

  10. cook both sides

  11. add water and let steam for 3-4 minutes

  12. serve with garlic rice
