Recipe Ingredients for Steamed Chicken and Vegetables

1 breast, bone and skin removed Chicken, Breast, Meat Only
2 cup, chopped Broccoli
2 cup Brussels Sprouts
1 breast, bone and skin removed Chicken, Breast, Meat Only
3 tbsp Shedd's Spread Country Crock Light Soft

Recipe Directions for Steamed Chicken and Vegetables

  1. Cut the chicken and vegetables to desired size.

  2. NOTE: While broccoli and brussell sprouts are all I usually add, substitutions and additions of things like carrots, peas, squash, etc. Just make sure to add in the extra ingredients to the calorie count.

  3. Put all ingredients in a pot with about a 1 1/2 cups of water.

  4. Add garlic and salt to taste.

  5. Steam all ingredients until the chicken is done.

  6. NOTE: If you like firmer vegetables, steam the chicken for about 5 minutes and then add the vegetables.
