Very simple vegetable side dish. Works with most kinds of vegetables.

Recipe Ingredients for Steamed Broccoli

1 bunch broccoli, cut into small chunks
1 tbsp butter
1/2 oz lemon juice (1/2 lemon)
1 basil to taste
1 parsley to taste

Recipe Directions for Steamed Broccoli

  1. Fill saucepan with 1" salted water and bring to a boil.

  2. Add broccoli chunks and let it come to a boil again, then cover the pan. Steam for 3 minutes. Drain.

  3. In same pan, add butter, lemon juice, and herbs. Toss with broccoli.
