This is a quick and easy main dish served with rice or chow mein noodles.

Recipe Ingredients for Steak and Peppers

1 medium onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 pound lean round steak, cut in strips
1 dash Salt
1 dash Pepper
16 oz. can tomatoes, broken up
2 bell peppers, cut in slices
3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce

Recipe Directions for Steak and Peppers

  1. In a deep skillet or pan combine onion, garlic, steak, salt and pepper. Cook on medium high heat till steak is done.

  2. Add tomatoes and cook covered 20 minutes on medium heat.

  3. Add bell pepper slices and soy sauce.Cook covered 6 or 7 minutes, until tender crisp.

  4. Serve over rice or chow mein noodles.
