Country fried steak and cream gravy.

Recipe Ingredients for Steak and Gravy

8 oz. round steak, cubed
1 large onion, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. canola oil
3/4 cup skim milk

Recipe Directions for Steak and Gravy

  1. Heat oil in non-stick skillet

  2. Mix flour, salt and pepper

  3. Dredge meat in flour mixture

  4. Add to pan with onion.

  5. Cook @12 minutes per side.

  6. Remove meat from pan and whisk in remaining flour mixture until slightly browned.

  7. Add milk slowly whisking constantly until it comes to a boil and thickens to desired consistancy.

  8. Return meat to pan and serve, or serve meat with gravy on the side.
