reduction of fresh strawberries and then frozen (sorbet texture)/ Great way to save berries going bad, freeze into icecube trays for a decadent accent to your drinking water, or suck on it like a popsicle for a frozen "Sweet" treat

Recipe Ingredients for Stawberry Concentrate Icecubes

2 g stevia
1 lb strawberries
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup water

Recipe Directions for Stawberry Concentrate Icecubes

  1. on a low heat, put cut up strawberries up in a pan with the balsamic vinegar. It will look like they're melting, and stir frequently until the strawberries really start getting juicy. After there is a lot of liquid (after a couple hours - don't have to watch it all the time, just occasionally come in and check it and stir), then turn the heat up to a low medium heat to help evaporate the liquid. Then add back in orange juice and water and return to low heat, mashing strawberries up to smaller pieces. When there is a lot of liquid mixed together again, take off heat, let cool a little and then blend remaining mixture until smooth. Pour into icecube tray or other freezer tupperware (or popsicle maker) and freeze.

  2. Add one to flavor water, enhance a spiked drink (champagne?) or eat it as a dessert. Very sweet alternative for someone trying to wean themselves off ice cream! (for extra sweetness, top with agave nectar (as it can taste a little more tart, but definitely sweet).
