An egg scrambled using on-the-heat, off-the-heat technique served on a slice of sourdough bread with rosemary on top. Mushroom caps, tomatoes, and spinach on the side. Delicious way to start the day!

Recipe Ingredients for Standard Breakfast

1 tsp salted butter
1 tsp olive oil
3 small mushrooms
4 cherry tomatoes
1 large egg
1 slice sourdough bread
1 tsp rosemary
1/4 cup cooked spinach

Recipe Directions for Standard Breakfast

  1. Scramble an egg using the on-the-heat, off-the-heat technique. Serve over whole wheat sourdough with rosemary crumbled on top.

  2. Place mushroom caps cup-side up in pan with tomatoes and a small amount of olive oil. Cook until mushrooms fill with juice; turn tomatoes as they cook. Set aside. Sautee spinach, adding garlic or onion as desired.
