Squash-Sagna Recipe

Have left over spaghetti squash and need something to do with it? MAKE SQUASH-SAGNA! This dish is everything a hungry girl (or guy) would want, with only about 300 calories per dish. Use a ramekin (or other oven safe single serve dish) to build the dish in.

Recipe Ingredients for squash-sagna

1 individually wrapped package Light String Cheese
1 serving trader joe's spicy jalapeno chicken sausages
1/2 cup Spaghetti Sauce Garlic and Herb
6 tsp Parmesan 100% Grated
1 cup Squash, Winter, Spaghetti

Recipe Directions for squash-sagna

  1. Spread 1/2 cup of the squash on the bottom pf the ramekin

  2. Cube up the sausage and spread half of it over the squash layer

  3. Put 1/4 cup (or half) the sauce over the sausage

  4. String up the string cheese and put half of it over the sauce

  5. Sprinkle 1 tbs of the parmesan over the the string cheese

  6. Repeat these layers one more time with remaining half of ingredients.

  7. Bake of 375 for 15-20 min

  8. (can finish if broiler to brown the cheese if desired)
