Recipe Ingredients for Squash Miso Soup

4.9 cup, cubes Squash, Winter, Butternut
1.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water
2 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
0.5 tsp Onion Powder
0.12 tsp Nutmeg, Ground
0.33 cup Honey, Strained Or Extracted
0.33 cup Miso

Recipe Directions for Squash Miso Soup

  1. Combine all ingredients except miso and 1 cup water and heat until squash is thoroughly thawed and butter melted.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the miso and remaining water.

  3. Add to soup. Correct seasoning and consistency, adding more water if necessary. Do not allow soup to come to a boil once miso has been added.

  4. Serves 4-6
