Recipe Ingredients for squash and cranberry gratin

4 pounds butternut squash
1/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of butter
2 slices of white bread
1/2 cup finely shredded swiss cheese
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Recipe Directions for squash and cranberry gratin

cut squash into halves or fourths. remove seeds and fibers. Bake in over of 350 until tender and place cut sides down when baking. scoop flesh from shells. Heat over to 350. butter a 1 1/2 quart shallow dish. Mix squas, cranberries, brown sugar, whip cream and salt. Spoon into dish. In a food processor, butter, bread, cheese and nutmeg. Cover and process until in fine crumbs. Sprinkle over squash mixture. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
