Austrian Spätzle for usse in käse Spätzle or Käse knopferl.

Recipe Ingredients for Spätzle

2 large Egg, Whole
1 cup Gold Medal Unbleached All Purpose Flour
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
0.25 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
0.5 tsp Nutmeg, Ground

Recipe Directions for Spätzle

Whisk together, milk, eggs, salt and nutmeg. Add flour and stir together. Place dough on wetted board and scrape off small spätzle size sections into boiling salted water. When dumplings float they are done, take them out of the water and drain.
