Turkey casserole with greens and pesto

Recipe Ingredients for Spring turkey slow cooked

370 g Turkey leg
20 g knorr stock
300 g raw broccoli
100 g raw green cabbage
100 g leeks
250 g peas
150 g raw onion
50 g pesto

Recipe Directions for Spring turkey slow cooked

  1. Put chopped onion into slow cooker then greens then broccoli then peas.

  2. Put cooked turkey meat on top.

  3. Boil kettle and dissolve 2 knorr vegetable stock cubes with a pint or 2 of water.

  4. Add to slow cooker. Cook on low for at least 4 or 5 hours (warning- broccoli will be soft and mushy!)

  5. Stir in 2 tablespoons of green pesto and cook for another 20 mins or so on high heat with lid off to thicken.

  6. Serve with new potatoes.
