This soup is a well balanced combination and is it easy to digest. The greens cleanse the liver, the garlic and herbs help the body detoxify.

Recipe Ingredients for Spring Detox Soup

2 medium raw Sweet Potato
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
3 cup, chopped Kale
6 clove Garlic
1 tsp Sea Salt
1/2 tsp Thyme, Fresh
6 cup Chicken Stock
1 dash Pepper, Black
4 teaspoon Juice

Recipe Directions for Spring Detox Soup

  1. Chop the potatoes and onion coarsely. Put the potatoes, onion, garlic, and herbs in a pot with the

  2. stock or salted water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 45 minutes until the potatoes are almost soft.

  3. Add in the chopped watercress and simmer another 15 minutes. Remove the sprigs. Blend the

  4. soup until it is smooth. Add freshly ground pepper and lemon juice just before serving. A splash of

  5. robust olive oil can also be added for extra flavor.
