Delicious alternative to Split Pea Soup with Ham.

Recipe Ingredients for Split Pea Soup with Smoked Turkey

8 oz Wings
14 oz Split Peas
48 oz Water
3 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 carrot (7-1/2") Carrots
4 clove Garlic
1 tsp Sea Salt

Recipe Directions for Split Pea Soup with Smoked Turkey

I combine all ingredients (shred carrot) in my pressure cooker and cook for 1/2 hr. Remove the meat from the bones, shred, and put back with soup. Add more water, as needed or desired, add Salt and Pepper to taste and/or continue to simmer - I let it simmer for another 30 min before eating. I have also done the same in the slow cooker and simmered it all day. Delicious, healthy, and low calorie.
