Recipe Ingredients for Split Pea Soup

1 cup dried green peas
4 cups water
1 cup diced ham
2 cups chopped celery
1 medium onion
1 carrot
1 small potato

Recipe Directions for Split Pea Soup

  1. Soak peas overnight, and simmer on low for 1 hour with water.

  2. Add all other ingredients and cook on low for another hour or so.

  3. Salt & pepper to taste.
