32 ounces dried split peas
13 cups chicken stock
1 large onion
4 garlic cloves
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. black pepper
4 carrots, thinly sliced
1 cup parsley, chopped
3 cups ham, diced
2 stalks celery, diced

Recipe Directions for Split Pea Soup

Combine all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer for 40 minutes.
