Basic split pea with left over lamb juice from crock pot cooked lamb shanks

Recipe Ingredients for Split pea with lamb

1 lb Peas, Split, Mature Seeds
1 medium raw Onion Yellow
2 medium Carrots
1/4 cup Sweetpotato
2 tsp Splendido Extra Virgin Olive Oil Cold Pressed
1 tsp Marjoram, Dried
5 dash Salt, Table
1 oz Lamb, Leg, Shank Half
5 dash Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Split pea with lamb

  1. rinse peas

  2. simmer peas under 2qts water for 45min

  3. chop onion and carrots. Brown onions and carrots for 15min in pan with olive oil.

  4. Add to pot with peas and lamb. Add spices and simmer for 1hr.
