Easty-to-make, delicious soup made with leftover ham and bone.

Recipe Ingredients for Split Pea & Ham Soup

448 grams Split Peas
2 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery
1 carrot (7-1/2") Carrots
450 grams Heat 'N Eat Baked Ham
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
12 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Split Pea & Ham Soup

  1. Finely chop vegetables (1 med onion; 1 large carrot, 2 large celery stalks with leaves).

  2. Put into large pot with 12 cups of water, 2 cups split peas, and ham bone.

  3. Simmer on stove for 2 hours.

  4. Remove ham bone and chop up meat from the bone.

  5. Return meat and 2 cups (or whatever you have of leftover ham); add pepper to taste.

  6. Heat until bubbly . . . and enjoy!
