A Splenda substitute for 'Frosted Mini-Wheats' -- for breakfast (1 cup) or snacking (1/2 cup).

Recipe Ingredients for Splenda frosted 'mini wheats'

3 cups
1/3 cup Splenda
1 1/2 teaspoons skim milk

Recipe Directions for Splenda frosted 'mini wheats'

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees; line cookie sheet with foil.

  2. Spread cereal in single layer on pan.

  3. Measure Splenda powder into small plastic zip bag.

  4. Add milk 1/2 teaspoon at a time to make a thin icing; mix by massaging the plastic bag with fingers to get out lumps.

  5. Snip a tiny hole in corner of plastic bag.

  6. Slowly squeeze bag to drizzle icing over cereal, trying to get at least a dot on each square.

  7. Stir to coat evenly.

  8. Place pan in oven; turn off oven and leave until cool.

  9. Store in airtight container.
