Recipe Ingredients for Spinach Topping

2 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
1 medium raw Onion Yellow
1 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high) Butter
2 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms
4 cloves, raw Garlic
3 oz Neufchatel Cheese
0.33 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
1 cup Creamed Spinach

Recipe Directions for Spinach Topping

  1. First, chop the onion.

  2. Sauté it in a sauce pan with some butter.

  3. While they?re caramelizing and sautéing, chop the mushroom.

  4. Add the mushroom to the onion and sauté until done.

  5. Then chop the bell pepper and add it to the pan.

  6. Then add the garlic.

  7. Add the cream cheese and milk and keep stirring until everything is combined into a smooth, creamy sauce.

  8. Then add the thawed package of creamed spinach, stirring occasionally until the sauce is all combined and hot.
