Recipe Ingredients for Spinach Poppy Seed Salad


Dressing:
3/4 cups sugar (Prism Friendly)
1 t. dry mustard
1 t. salt
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 c. salad oil
1/2 t. chopped onion
1 1/2 t. poppy seed

Salad:
24 ounces baby spinach (drain well)
2 large granny smith apples (chopped)
1 cup cashews (lightly salted)
8 oz. swiss cheese (use baby swiss, cubed or shredded)
2 oz. craisins (optional)

Recipe Directions for Spinach Poppy Seed Salad

  1. Mix all dressing ingredients in the blender.

  2. Refrigerate for 2 hours.

  3. Toss together salad ingredients.

  4. Add dressing just before serving.
