Recipe Ingredients for Spinach Pie

1 1/3 cups flour
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cup milk
1 small potato, chopped
1 tbsp canola oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 cup broccoli (frozen)
1/2 pound spinach (frozen)
3 eggs
1/4 cup cheddar cheese, grated

Recipe Directions for Spinach Pie

  1. combine flour, butter, and milk. Knead until thoroughly mixed.

  2. Roll and place in pie tin.

  3. Boil potato pieces (chopped into about 1/2-inch cubes) until soft.

  4. Sautee the onions and mustard seeds in the canola oil until onions are translucent. Add broccoli and spinach. stir until spinach is defrosted.

  5. Drain the potato pieces. Combine potatoes and vegetables in a bowl, mix the eggs and cheese into the bowl, then pour over the crust.

  6. Bake at 400 F for 40 minutes.
