A Healthier and Lower Calorie Version of Pesto. This is thicker because it uses less oil. Toss with cooked pasta or zucchini noodles, or use as a spread on sandwiches or a sauce for pizza. 1 Tbsp = 1 Serving

Recipe Ingredients for Spinach Pesto

1 cup leaves, whole Basil, Fresh
3 tbsp Oil Olive Extra Virgin
2 tbsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp Peppercorns
1 tbsp Parmesan, Grated Cheese
0.12 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 package (10 oz) Spinach
1 pkg Emerald Natural Walnuts and Almonds

Recipe Directions for Spinach Pesto

  1. Put the spinach into the food processor and blend until completely chopped.

  2. Add all other ingredients except for oil and water.

  3. Blend adding the oil and water a little at a time until fully incorporated.

  4. The pesto will be thick.
