My twist on a classic Italian dish

Recipe Ingredients for Spinach & Mushroom Stuffed Shells

1 box Shells Jumbo Dry
16 oz Ground Beef
3 cup, shredded Mozzarella, Part Skim Milk, Low Moisture Cheese
2 oz Shredded Parm Cheese
2 large Egg, Whole
1.5 cup Spinach
1.5 cup Cottage Cheese Small Curd Grade A Pasteurized Dairy
15 oz Part Skim Milk Ricotta Cheese
1.5 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms

Recipe Directions for Spinach & Mushroom Stuffed Shells

  1. Preheat over to 400

  2. Boil shells per box directions to al dente

  3. Brown ground beef to just done. Drain and cool to room temp

  4. Beat the two eggs

  5. Mix all cheese together and add DRAINED frozen spinach

  6. Add eggs

  7. Add mushroom and mix well

  8. Spoon mix into cooked shells

  9. Place in baking dish.

  10. Top evenly with tomato sauce

  11. Sprinkle with any left over mozzarella

  12. Bake for approx 15-20 on 400 or until heated through and cheese is melted.
