Made heathier with lowfat cottage cheese over ricotta!

Recipe Ingredients for Spinach Manicotti

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1 1/2 cups small curd cottage cheese
10 ounce fresh spinach
1/4 cups grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1 clove garlic
26 ounce spaghetti sauce
3/4 cup water
16 ounce manicotti

Recipe Directions for Spinach Manicotti

  1. In a large bowl, combne 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, spinach, Parmesan, egg, orgegano and garlic; stuff into uncooked manicotti shells. Place in a greased 13x9 in baking dish.

  2. Pour spaghetti sauce over manicotti. Pour water along sides of pan. cover and bake at 350F for 1 hour.

  3. Uncover; sprinkle w/ remaining mozzarella. Bake 5-8 mins lontger or until cheese is metled.

  4. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
