Spinach Fettuccine with Gorgonzola Cream Sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Spinach Fettuccine with Gorgonzola Cream Sauce

1/2 tsp sea salt
18 ounce spinach fettuccine,1 and half packages
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic,finely chopped
2 tbsp flour
1 cup chicken stock
1 cup half and half
8 oz gorgonzola cheese, cut into small pieces
2 tsp fresh sage,finely chopped
1/4 pepper
4 cups baby spinach leaves

Recipe Directions for Spinach Fettuccine with Gorgonzola Cream Sauce

  1. Heat water to a boil for pasta,salt water and cook pasta to al dente.

  2. Heat butter in a large sauce pot, add garlic, cook 2 mins then whisk in flour, cook 1 min. Whisk in stock, then half and half, bring to a bubble and stir in Gorgonzola, cook about 2 mins till melted.

  3. Stir in sage and a little pepper, cook 3 more mins.

  4. In a serving bowl toss hot pasta with sauce and fresh spinach to wilt in.
