Recipe Ingredients for Spinach and Cheese-Stuffed Turkey Loaf

20 oz Ground Turkey Lean
1 medium Carrots
1 large raw Zucchini
1/4 medium raw Bell Pepper Green
1/4 medium Red Bell Pepper
1 medium raw Onion Yellow
1/4 1tsp Olive Oil
2 large Egg, White
2 cup leaves, whole Basil, Fresh
6 oz Stove Top Stuffing Mix Chicken Flavor
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
2 cup Spinach
1/4 cup Parmesan, Grated Cheese
8 oz Mozzerella Cheese - Low Moisture
1 tsp Ginger Root
2 clove Garlic
2 clove Garlic

Recipe Directions for Spinach and Cheese-Stuffed Turkey Loaf

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees farenheit. Combine turkey, grated ginger, grated carrot, grated zucchini, Stovetop, egg whites, 1TB chopped basil, grated peppers and 1/4 cup grated onion.

  2. Meanwhile heat olive oil in small frying pan. Carmelize 3/4 cup onion. Chop finely. Combine with chopped garlic, spinach, cheeses, remaining basil and nutmeg. Mix well.

  3. Flatten turkey mixture onto wax paper. Top with spinach mixture. Roll into log shape; press ends shut. Place in nonstick pan, crease side down.

  4. Bake 35 minutes. Top with ketchup, marinara or desired sauce. Bake additional 15 minutes.
