A quick, yummy spinach bake. Freezes & reheats well.

Recipe Ingredients for Spinach Brownies

8 oz chopped spinach, frozen
1/2 cup quick oats
1 tsp seasoned salts
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 egg
1/2 cup 2% milk
1/2 large onion, chopped
1 oz parmesan, shredded
1 garlic, to taste
1 ground black pepper, to taste

Recipe Directions for Spinach Brownies

  1. Whisk together egg & milk.

  2. Add oats & let soak.

  3. Saute onions slowly. Add spices.

  4. Defrost spinach and squeeze out moisture.

  5. Add spinach to onions, and cook for a few minutes until liquid evaporates.

  6. Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.

  7. Pour into greased baking dish.

  8. Bake @ 375 for 40 minutes.

  9. Remove from oven and let cool before cutting into bars.
