a delicious, relatively healthy spinach artichoke dip

Recipe Ingredients for Spinach Artichoke Dip

10 oz frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed of liquid
1 can artichoke hearts
8 oz. neufchatel cheese
4 oz. reduced fat sour cream
8 oz. 2% milk reduced fat cheese
1 cup parmesan cheese
1 medium onion, chopped

Recipe Directions for Spinach Artichoke Dip

  1. saute onion with garlic, red pepper flake, salt, and pepper

  2. mix together spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, cooled onion mixture, cream cheese, sour cream, and half the shredded and parmesan cheeses

  3. pour into oven proof container

  4. top with remaining cheese and bake at 350 degrees F until top has browned

  5. serve with pita chips
