You can use frozen and canned veggies, but preparing it with fresh veggies makes this recipe much better and better for you.

Recipe Ingredients for Spinach, Artichoke Cream Cheese Wontons

10 oz fresh spinach, boiled
1 artichoke, chopped
8 oz of Neufchatel Cream Cheese, softened
5 tablespoons garlic, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
12 ounces wonton wrappers
2 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Spinach, Artichoke Cream Cheese Wontons

  1. Boil Spinach, drain and mix in with cream cheese.

  2. Chop artichoke, boil and drain.

  3. Saute olive oil, onions and garlic until softened, then add artichoke until lightly brown.

  4. Add artichoke mixture to spinach and cream cheese, add salt and pepper.

  5. Spray Pam on mini muffin pan, then put wonton wrapper in little cup shapes.

  6. Put mixture in the middle of wontons and either leave open or closed.

  7. Bake at 375 degrees for about 12-16 minutes.
