Flax seed, wheat, soy and oat flour pancakes made with skim milk, and served with sugar free syrup.

Recipe Ingredients for The Spidergirl's Whole Grain Pancakes

3/4 cup Soy Flour
1 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 cup dry Quick Quaker Oats
1/4 cup Flaxseed
2 large Egg, Whole
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
2 cup Milk, Nonfat, Fluid
1 tbsp Honey, Strained Or Extracted
6 teaspoon Baking Powder
2 1/2 cup Mrs. Butterworth's Sugar Free Low Calorie Syrup

Recipe Directions for The Spidergirl's Whole Grain Pancakes

  1. Mix all dry ingredients thouroughly. If you do not have oat flour, you can place oats in food processor to grind. Add milk, eggs, honey and oil. Heat non-stick pan over med-low to medium heat. Spray or brush pan lightly with oil. Pour batter into pan. *Tip-use a soup ladle for consistently sized pancakes. When top of pancake has bubbles that rise and pop in the batter pancake is ready to be turned. Serve with 1/4 cup sugar free syrup.

  2. Makes 10 5" diameter, by 3/4" thick pancakes.

  3. Create other varieties such as Banana Walnut, Cranberry Pecan, Orange Almond, Strawberry Nuefatchel, Applesauce Cinnamon, and Pumpkin Sunflower Seed--by adding fruits and nuts, etc to batter.
