Recipe Ingredients for Spicy White Chili with Pork

2 medium onions, chopped
1 T olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
10 oz chopped green chilies
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp ground cloves
29 oz low-sodium chicken broth
10 oz lean pork loin, cubed
31 oz great northern beans, drained and rinsed

Recipe Directions for Spicy White Chili with Pork

  1. In a Dutch oven or soup kettle, saute onions in oil until tender.

  2. Stir in garlic, chilies and spices. Cook 2-3 minutes.

  3. Add broth, pork and beans. Simmer, uncovered for 15 minutes.

  4. Optional: top with a dollop of sour cream and sliced jalapenos.
