Turkey thighs browned and simmered in onions and tomatoes

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Turkey

24 ounce turkey
3 tsp paprika
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp pepper
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, sliced
1 small tomato, sliced
3 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tsp thyme
1 tbsp hot sauce, Srirasha

Recipe Directions for Spicy Turkey

  1. Wash turkey thighs in lemon-water

  2. Rub in paprika, garlic powder, pepper, and salt

  3. Brown turkey in olive oil, remove to plate.

  4. Pour off all but a tbsp of oil and simmer onions and tomatoes

  5. Add turkey back in

  6. Add the crushed garlic, thyme, and hot sauce

  7. Let simmer on each side for approx 15 minutes per side
