This is a great use for leftover blackened or grilled tuna. Use it in a sandwich or on a salad. For extra spice, add half a teaspoon of creole seasoning to the mayo mix.

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Tuna Salad

4 oz tuna, grilled
1 tablespoon reduced fat mayo
1 scallion, chopped
1/4 teaspoon chipotle hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Recipe Directions for Spicy Tuna Salad

  1. In a bowl, mix the mayo, hot sauce, creole seasoning (if using) and lemon juice.

  2. Chop tuna and scallion, add to mayo mixture. Stir to incorporate.

  3. Enjoy on a couple of slices of whole wheat bread, with crackers or on a salad.
