Spicy Tofu Recipe

If you don't like tofu, this will make you like tofu!

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Tofu

14 oz Extra Firm Tofu
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
0.062 cup Lime Juice, Canned Or Bottled, Unsweetened
1 tsp California Style Minced Garlic made from Fresh Garlic
0.062 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 tsp Chili Powder
0.5 tsp Cumin
1 tbsp Honey, Strained Or Extracted

Recipe Directions for Spicy Tofu

  1. Drain or press tofu.

  2. Slice into 1/2 inch thick slices

  3. Combine all ingredients (except tofu) and mix well

  4. Pour over tofu slices, gently mix, and allow to marinate as long as possible (preferably overnight)

  5. Broil for 5 minutes and then flip to broil for 5-6 minutes more

  6. Serve warm

  7. (We like to eat them in tacos with cabbage and salsa)
