Spicy Tofu Recipe

Recipe Ingredients for spicy tofu

2 tsp dried tofu
2 tbsp peanut oil
2 cloves garlic
3 red chili peppers
2 lb lite tofu
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp water
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp parsley
8 cups broccoli florets

Recipe Directions for spicy tofu

  1. Soak tofu strips 15 min. Chop finely and set aside.

  2. Heat oil. Stir-fry garlic 5 min. Add broccoli and chili peppers and stir-fry 3 min.

  3. Stir in tofu veg stock soy sauce, seasme oil and sugar. Simmer until liquid has reduced slightly - 5 min.

  4. Mix water and cornstarch. Stir into wok to thicken mixture. Season with pepper. Garnish with parsley.
