Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Thai Fish Soup

3 ounces tilapia, cooked and shredded
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup coconut milk
1/2 jalapeno pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili paste
1 cup baby spinach
1 cup bean sprouts
2 tablespoons cilantro

Recipe Directions for Spicy Thai Fish Soup

  1. Put broth, water, coconut milk, sliced jalapeno, chili paste and (optional sriracha!) and simmer for 15 minutes. Add fish and heat a few minutes until fish is heated through.

  2. In the bottom of your soup bowl, put spinach and bean sprouts. Pour broth over top and garnish with more fresh sliced jalapenos, a dollop of red chili paste, fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime.
