This spaghetti dish has chicken and zucchini to make it a nice full meal and some crushed red pepper flakes for zip.

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Spaghetti Dinner

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup chopped onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
15 ounces tomato sauce (1 can)
1/2 teaspoon oregano, dry
7 ounces chicken breast, cooked, diced
7 ounces zucchini, chopped
4 ounces spaghetti, dry

Recipe Directions for Spicy Spaghetti Dinner

  1. In a large skillet, heat oil.

  2. Add onion and saute until almost transparent.

  3. Add garlic, salt, red pepper flakes and saute until garlic and pepper flakes are golden brown.

  4. Add tomato sauce, oregano and diced chicken; mix thoroughly.

  5. Add zucchini and allow mixture to simmer while spaghetti is prepared according to package directions.

  6. Serve with garnishments of your choice.
