This recipe serves 2 generously. I put the shrimp on fried polenta (packaged) and it's quick and tasty.

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Shrimp Puttanesca

1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 c. sherry wine(dry)
4 oz. olives, black, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 T parsley, chopped
2 T orange juice
1 T capers
4 oz. pimentos, drained and chopped
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper

Recipe Directions for Spicy Shrimp Puttanesca

  1. NOTE: You can substitute orange juice for the sherry, but it's not as good in my opinion.

  2. Place all ingredients except shrimp in a large skillet. Bring to a boil and cook for a few minutes. Add shrimp and cook 2-3 minutes until pink.
