very easy recipe...i made the rub in large batches for easy future prep

Recipe Ingredients for spicy rubbed salmon w/maple syrup

6 oz salmon
2 tbl brown sugar
1 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp maple syrup

Recipe Directions for spicy rubbed salmon w/maple syrup

  1. rinse salmon fillets, leave skin on

  2. rub seasonings except syrup onto skinless side of fish, let rest about 20-30 mins.

  3. spray heavy skillet with Pam and heat pan on med. high heat.

  4. place fish skin-side down and cook about 3-4 mins

  5. turn and continue cooking another 3 mins. . remove skin.

  6. pour maple syrup over cooked fish to finish.
