White rice and black beans with La Costena salsa

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Rice and Beans

1 cup dry white rice
1 1/2 cups black beans
1 cup salsa
1/2 onion
1/2 bell pepper
4 tbsp olive oil
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Recipe Directions for Spicy Rice and Beans

  1. Sautee 1/2 onion and bell pepper in olive oil

  2. Add garlic and herb seasonings

  3. Drain liquid out of black beans and add to pan

  4. Mix for 5 minutes on medium heat

  5. Add black bean liquid and salsa, bring to boil, then turn down heat to simmer for 10 minutes
