Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Quorn chicken rice lentil and vegetable casserole

8 oz red lentils
2 oz brown rice
300 grams quorn pieces
2 pints water
10 grams marigold bouillon vegetable powder
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
400 grams canned tomatoes, chopped with their juice
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon cayenne
1 teaspoon ground coriander, used as it doesnt have garam massala in its food logs
1 medium red bell pepper
5 1/2 oz broccoli, cut into small florets
3 1/2 oz frozen peas
2 teaspoon dried basil
1 tablespoon tomato puree
1 salt and pepper, season to taste

Recipe Directions for Spicy Quorn chicken rice lentil and vegetable casserole

  1. Put all ingredients into a slow cooker, stir well and place on low and allow to cook for 3 hours.

  2. Mid way through check the liquid amounts are ok

  3. You should be left with a thick warming spicy casserole.
