I love pork recipes, cherries should be interesting! I may reduce the amount of pepper.

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Pulled Pork with Cherries

3 lb pork
1/2 cup cherries , dried
1 medium onion, cut into wedges
1/2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar , packed
1 1/2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Spicy Pulled Pork with Cherries

  1. trim fat from pork and cut into 2 or 3 pieces

  2. coarsely chop dried cherries

  3. place pork, onion & cherries into 4-quart or larger crock pot

  4. Mix together ketchup, vinegar, sugar, red pepper, cinnamon, garlic powder and salt

  5. pour mixture over pork

  6. cover and cook 8 hours on low heat

  7. Remove pork from cooker and using 2 forks, shred

  8. Return shredded pork to cooker

  9. mix and heat with sauce before serving
