Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Pork Chops In Tomato Sauce

1 cup white wine
1 tablespoon garlic, powder
2 tablespoon hot sauce,(Sriracha) divided
26 oz pasta sauce, Prego jar three cheese
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 tablespoon garlic, minced
1/2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
4 pork chops
1 onion, sliced
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups cooked white rice

Recipe Directions for Spicy Pork Chops In Tomato Sauce

  1. Marinate the pork chops in the white wine and half the sriracha sauce 1-2 hours before.

  2. Start the white rice in a rice maker.

  3. In a bowl, mix the tomato puree, half the hot sauce, red pepper, oregano, and garlic.

  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat, pour in pork chops and marinade; brown pork chops on both sides. Remove chops from heat and set aside. Pour olive oil in skillet sauté onion for 2 minutes add celery in the skillet, and sauté 2 to 3 minutes. Return pork to skillet, and cover with the tomato puree mixture. Cover skillet, and continue cooking 30 minutes, or to desired doneness.

  5. Serve pork and sauce over cooked rice
